OUR PROGRAM

We offer high quality care and learning for children from 18 months old. The childrens development and learning is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage for Learning, know as EYFS.

Early Years Foundation Stage for Learning

The areas of learning are split into two categories, Prime areas and Specific areas.

Prime areas are Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Communication and Language.
Specific Areas cover Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Epressive Arts and Design.
We offer 15hrs funded chilcare per week from the term after the childs 3rd birthday.

Key Worker

All children are allocated a named key worker who is responsible for your childs' learning journey and individual planning to aid your childs development.

Individual Child Plans
Our staff plan carefully so each individual child develops in accordance with the EYFS based on their own unique abilities. Each child has an individual planning sheet according to their need and stage of development. We plan activities which encourage learning and development through play so the children develop independence to become explorers and critical thinkers.

Snack/Lunch Club

We provide water and a healthy snack each day plus fresh fruit. Dietary needs and allergies are catered for. We have a weekly snack menu for parents to view and we bake with the children once a week.

We have four lunch club sessions per week, when the children bring along a packed lunch which helps develop independence and social skills. Our staff eat their lunch with the children and this is a fun part of the day.

Special Needs

Our staff includes a SENCO who attends regular training and has experience in working with children who have special needs. Every child who comes to us is unique and individual and we work closely with parents and children to ensure the children have access to a wide varied curriculum.
